Enjoy the benefits of having a personal trainer at your fingertips and on your own schedule

Because so many exercise programs are repetitive and sometimes dull, certified personal fitness trainer, Joni Hyde is presenting an entirely different approach to exercise at her web site, http://www.workoutsforwomen.com.

Better than the 90's repetitive aerobic classes and exercise videos, Hyde says her new web site puts the enjoyment back into exercise by introducing workout programs that avoid the same old thing. She says, the site offers an assortment of home exercise programs with a curriculum that's adaptable to most women, of all ages and fitness levels.

"Women who desire the convenience of a home exercise program, combined with the guidance of a certified personal trainer, will find the site valuable," says Hyde, herself a Certified trainer, who is also a black belt in Tae kwon do karate. "We use rapid display video/audio presentations and written descriptions to deliver the weekly exercise programs."

With almost 400 exercises, the program offers variety and progression, two of the most vital components of a successful exercise plan, says Hyde. She believes that more people would stay in their fitness program if they didn't get bored and had more diversity. Beginning the home exercise program is simple. First, the visitor completes a fitness and goals evaluation, then selects a workout level. A program is designed using this information.

Each week, participants receive a new workout circuit. "Because the workouts are changed so often, the program is always fresh. This promotes the body to respond more quickly than with repetitive activities," says Hyde. "We combine aerobic activity and strength training into one efficient workout."

An accountability system reinforces adherence to the program, offers constructive feedback and motivation. Consultations with a trainer provide guidance and answers to questions by e-mail. A Workout Buddy program encourages support among ladies who have similar goals and profiles.

Visitors can utilize a collection of helpful sections. One section, called Assess Yourself, includes fitness calculators and tests, tips and articles. There's a section on stretches and an equipment store.

"The greatest thing about this site is that women can enjoy the benefits of a having a personal trainer, without adhering to a trainers schedule," says Hyde.
