Is there a savings in purchasing used exercise equipment?

Used exercise equipment can be found in local papers, second hand stores and garage sales. Consider the difference in price compared to new equipment and check out the quality and wear. Buying used exercise equipment may not be the best bargain.

Without the warranty and guarantee programs that are available on new equipment you need to reconsider the value of buying used exercise equipment. Although the price may be lower the equipment may break down and then what do you have. Because of the quality of equipment available the guarantees are offered regardless of how high a price you pay for new systems.

When you purchase used exercise equipment you will not have access to any replacement parts. New equipment comes with a parts list and how to order them. Also there may be many add-on accessories that you will want as you progress with your body development. Accessory guides are usually included with new equipment or if not, details on how to order them.
